Excellent Ride on Saturday
Excellent bike ride down and around White Rock Lake on Saturday. Just enough drizzle to keep you cool and make you feel committed. Most importantly, it gave me license to do nothing of value or discipline the rest of the day!
we battled the elements (rain, wind, the occasional solar flare). conquered them all. some of us more gracefully than the other.
thanks to his advanced training, resonance free bike technology, and his shirt's incredible wicking action, kris was fresh as a daisy at the ride's end. i, on the other hand, was a quivering, disheveled, mud-caked picture of exhaustion in my rain-soaked cotton kings t-shirt. glorious.
